We took a leap of faith during the COVID-19 pandemic and, in April 2020, randomly sold our inland house and moved to the beach. We literally woke up, called our realtor, and had our house listed and sold within two weeks. We were fortunate to sell it for a high price and buy it for a relatively low price. Now, with the lowest interest rate ever, what we thought was our stepping stone house is becoming our forever home. It’s not excessively large, at only 2200 square feet, so we’re gradually transforming our cozy little home into a custom home without the price tag. We’re far from being confined to bland beige with orange and hot pink ceilings to all-black dining rooms. I love a good showstopper. Follow my projects, ideas, and just things I enjoy.
